The Culture Library is where your People's PAC carries lives, editable in place as a living archive. Upon opening you will see three active areas: the Applications list on the left, the Bundles browser in the middle, and (once you open a bundle) the editor on the right.

The Library needs an open project. If you do see "Open a PAC project before editing content," open or create your project first, then come back.

Find your way around

The Applications rail lists the apps your PAC feeds: Stories, Health & Safety, Creativity, Calendar, Community, Nature, Language, and more. Click one, and the middle panel displays only that app's bundles. A bundle denotes any one piece of content: a book, an emergency contact, a trail, a lesson, even a language.

The middle panel's header reads Bundles with a card count. Two small buttons beside it switch between a list, which shows each bundle's picture, title, contributor, and date, and a gallery of picture tiles. Apps without card data will return the message: "No bundles for that app yet."

Create a new bundle

  1. In the Applications rail, click the app the content belongs to. For a story, click Stories.
  2. Look at the New bundle section at the bottom of the rail. Click the chip for the kind of bundle you want. Stories offers Codex, Book, and Audiobook; Health & Safety offers Community resource and Emergency responder; other apps show their own kinds.
  3. Type a name in the Title field.
  4. Click Create. The button is disabled until you have typed a title.

The new bundle opens right away in the editor, ready to fill in. If a bundle with the same name already exists, PAC Manager will ask you to choose a different title rather than replace anything.

One palette for everything: press ⌘K (or the + button in the corner) anywhere in PAC Manager to open a single search box. Type to Make a new bundle, Open any bundle already on the board, or Go to any screen. It is the fastest way to reach a specific card without hunting through the rails.

Open and edit a bundle

  1. Click any bundle in the browser. The editor opens on the right, and the bundle list slims down to a narrow column so you can hop between bundles without leaving your work.
  2. Make your changes in the editor fields. For most bundles, a small device preview sits at the foot of the editor so you can see how the card will look.
  3. When you are ready, click Save + Compile at the top right. Saving stores your changes and rebuilds the card set, so the whole library stays ready to deliver.

Changes live in the editor until you click Save + Compile. If you switch to another bundle first, unsaved edits are set aside, so save before you move on.

Delete a bundle

  1. Open the bundle you want to remove.
  2. Click the small trash button next to Save + Compile. Hover over it and it reads Delete bundle.

The bundle is removed from your library and will not be on the card the next time you sync.

When something needs attention

PAC Manager checks your content every time it saves. When a bundle is missing something (a picture that cannot be found, an empty required field), you will see red number badges appear:

Open the bundle and scroll below the editing fields. Each message appears on its own line: a red circle marks something that must be fixed before the content works on the device, and an amber triangle marks something worth a look but not blocking. Fix the field the message describes, click Save + Compile, and the badge count drops as messages clear.

Loose ends: the whole board at once

To see every open item across the whole PAC in one place, open Loose ends (from the count in the side rail, or type "loose ends" into the ⌘K palette). It gathers every message, grouped by app, with red for what blocks delivery and sepia for what is only worth a look. Click any row and it opens the exact card, screen, or manifest where you settle it. The Card Index marks the same cards with a small red dot so you can spot them while browsing. When the board is whole, Loose ends simply reads "Nothing is loose."

What the device shows

Every Save + Compile refreshes the full card set, so whatever you deliver next (by syncing a card or a connected device) carries your latest saved work. Bundles you deleted disappear from the device, and new bundles show up in their app with the title and picture you gave them.
